"She's DRAMA in the USA"

As we all know by now, America is facing an increasing celebrity influence towards young ones. She is known as Hannah Montana but out of her T.V show she is Miley Cirus. This new Diva has made a change of the limitations on what kids can watch and are allowed to do. She has made parents approve/disapprove the new generation of singers. I think this fame thing has gone out of hands and she has taken it too far.

Recently she was voted 2009's Worst Celebrity Influence by Teens,Tweens. This already backs me up with what my personal opinions are. She has put herself in a horrible position she could have avoided. Miley Cirus,16 years old,in August for the Teens Choice Award performed on stage in front of thousands of not only young girls but boys as well with a stripper pole. She very well knew that her doing that was going to cause a huge chaos. Does she do it for attention or to let people know she is shedding out the Hannah Montana Character? For whatever reason it is, she easily won Brittinay Spears and Kanye West for being the years bad influence celeb. Her skimpy outfits, heavily loaded make up, and two-inch heels also gives her that bad girl look. Her attire is an example of what not to let your daughter dress in. In June 2008, her semi-nude Vanity Fair Cover also caused a major stir. With pictures and shows being performed like this the effects on our young kids who view her as a teen idol will not stop.

Our young generation will believe that scenes like Mileys' are ok to watch just because it is being aired on Disney channel. Or they might think it is prefectly normal to date more then two guys in the same year who are older then thay are just because she did. If she isn't thrown off th island we will continue seeing our little girls grow up too fast!

  1. I was waiting for someone to banish her. The idea of split personality was the worst concept for youngsters. Luckily, the process in which we age forgives our early years of idolization. At the age of seventeen no one runs around with barbie, and by eighteen all of the boy bands are beginning to fall off of our walls. By age twenty one we are in total and utter denial of ever loving any public figure.

Thank goodness for the aging process ...

Miley Cirus, you are hereby banished from this universe, you should have thought more about your influence on today's youth. Shame on you, you had your father to watch and he could have saved you with giving some stern direction.

  2. AGREED! My goodness, Hannah Montana...or Miley Cyrus, whoever she chooses to be at any given moment, is the epitome of being exceedingly overrated.

And as you stated Fatima, she is a very negative influence on our female youth. I couldn't believe the Teen Choice Awards fiasco. I think it has something to do with these Disney Channel stars trying to break out of their Disney bubble. There's nothing wrong with wanting to look or act more grown up or mature, but Miley/Hannah has taken it to far with her skimpy outfits and inappropriate choices. She outta know girls look up and admire her.

Not to mention, she sure is lucky her daddy was a semi-popular celebrity, because whether it's acting or singing, she isn't very talented. :/

  4. ha I like how we chose the same person, but seriously I didn't know thats when the stripper pole showed up also. I just know that she is a bad influence on all the small girls that watch her, they should just watch Tila Tequila or somebody like that who isn't a children's role model. Good job!

  5. I guess everyone is doing Miley Cyrus. I totally agree with you though. She's become a bad influence to little girls now. She needs to be kicked off. Great job.

  6. I have been hearing so much lately about how Miley is just a horrible role model. She is getting worse with every performance. Hopefully she will realize her age and start acting it.

  7. Her participation in a family friendly Disney show does change the expectations that people have for an actress. I feel like Disney should carefully select their employees to represent the image that they want to portray. Miley's past makes her particularly influential in young girls lives I believe. The fact that girls watched her portray a wholesome character in a Disney show built her credibility with a young audience and their gaurdians. It is a shame that she has taken advantage of her following by leading them in a bad direction. Good vote to get rid of Miley Cyrus.

  8. i didnt know she was like that, i never really payed attention to her. but i agree. even though she may be trying to attract an older audience, she should really remember that she is still an IDOL to all those young girls out there who know her as hannah! she clearly has forgotten that and needs to be reminded.
